The Pontiac Bonneville high-performance GXP trim was introduced in 2004 to bring back the driving excitement the car once was known during the 1950’s. The GXP, in addition to the leather bucket seats, got a brushed-aluminum gearshift handle, carbon fiber trim and ebony-colored switches. The GXP entertained its occupants with a CD player in a Monsoon sound and comforted them with a dual-zone automatic climate control. The Bonnevilles can also be equipped with an XM satellite radio.

In handling these Bonneville models, according to reviews, the regular trims seems to fail in standing out but they steer with a light touch.
