Irrespective of how much societies advance, there won’t ever be a dearth of parables that surround common, ordinary maladies like acne, weight gain and hair loss. Some of these tales are so old that they seem to gain more relevance as time passes.

Here’s a common alopecia parable that is ludicrous on a few levels: wearing a hat excessively will lead to baldness as it will cut off oxygen to the scalp the hair follicles need. This is so stupid that it defies belief that some will prescribe to it.

First, a hat does not create a vacuum where oxygen cannot reach the hair and secondly, if you shaved an individual’s head and poured polish on the scalp on an everyday basis hair would grow. Temporarily wearing a hat does not cause baldness.

These are common falsities that have circulated with a host of other myths pulled out of the air to clarify that which is unaccountable to one who neither knows nor understands the theorem of genetics. And here’s a little tip - if you want to grow your hair back, use provillus - end of story!

Finally, alopecia is a genetic issue and not the result of common, everyday actions that yields pattern baldness.  When it comes to separating fact from fiction, it’s important to search out a convincing source as the root of the info. Sadly, many folks don’t understand that the origins derive from traditional mythology so that the lies continue to this day.
